Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Prepare to cut and polish vehicle body panel
   • Task instructions are interpreted and body panel to be worked on is identified
   • Paint finish type is identified and documented according to workplace procedures
   • Manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures for cutting and polishing body panel surface are sourced and interpreted
   • Safety and environmental requirements are sourced and interpreted

2. Cut and polish body panel
